Dear colleagues and guests you are cordially invited to join the 11th Duesseldorf Breast Cancer Conference (DBCC), from June 17 to 18, 2016 Important innovations over the last years have been translated into new breast cancer diagnostics and treatment strategies and are now being integrated into clinical practice. Much progress has been made in molecular and imaging diagnostics, in primary and reconstructive breast surgery, in radiation therapy and in the development of individualized medical treatment strategies by means of tailored and targeted therapies. The increasing degree to which results from translational and clinical research are being implemented calls for an analysis of the state of art of current diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. The Duesseldorf Breast Cancer Conference will provide an overview of the most recent research results and trends in breast surgery and breast cancer management. International and national experts will illustrate and discuss the interdisciplinarity character of senology with its close interaction of diagnostics, local and systemic therapy. The Duesseldorf Breast Cancer Conference will present latest therapeutical standards and consensus recommendations. We will also discuss the results of the recent meetings.
